Effective nursing documentation facilitates information flow supporting care continuity, quality, and safety. Traditional views often overlook how documentation functions as an interconnected network where data points relate and influence each other. Understanding this interconnectedness is crucial for safe, effective, holistic patient care. This study aims to clarify and analyze the concept of documentation as an interconnected network in nursing. The design is Concept analysis approach proposed by Walker and Avant. The data sources is from Conceptual and empirical literature review using databases including PubMed, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Health Literature (CINAHL), Ovid Medline, and Web of Science. The review method include the application of the 8-step concept analysis method proposed by Walker and Avant. The result shows that initial steps of the analysis clarified the definition and interpretive use of documentation as an interconnected network, identified key uses within nursing practice, and declned its core attributes. Understanding documentation as an interconnected network deepens insight into its role as it links all member of the health care team, in improving patient outcomes and communication in nursing. In conclusion, the concept enhances care quality, accountability, and system integration in contemporary healthcare.
